Also know that this visa is for short-term stays up to 90 days in 180 days for tourism, business, health-related issues, or family visits.

Schengen Visa Fee From Pakistan (2025)

As of 2025, the Schengen visa fee from Pakistan is:

  • Adults: €90 (which is about PKR 28,000 to  30,000 to the present exchange rate).

  • Children (6–12 years): 45 Euro.

  • Children under 6 years: Free.

Note that these are base fees. At the Visa application centers (like Gerry’s or VFS Global), they may charge extra service fees. Payment is made in local currency and is non-refundable even if your visa is denied.

Processing Time For Schengen Visa

Processing of a Schengen visa in Pakistan generally takes between 15 to 30 working days from the date of application. But this may change based on the following factors:

  • In the volume of applications (which we see in holiday seasons).

  • Incomplete or incorrect documentation

  • Interviews or further verification requirements

It is recommended to apply at least 4 to 6 weeks before your travel date, which includes time for possible delays.

Where To Apply

At the embassy or consulate of your primary destination, you should apply. If you are in multiple countries for the same number of days, which one do you choose to apply to, and which one do you enter first?

Authorized service centers, which include Gerry’s and VFS Global, are the entities that handle appointment booking, biometric collection, and document submission for many Schengen countries in Pakistan.

Can You Get A Schengen Visa Online?

While it’s true that you can’t get a Schengen visa entirely online (we still require in person biometric collection and production of documents), what we are seeing is an increase in which consulates are offering online access for the visa application forms, setting up appointments, and a digital status tracking of applications. This is a step forward in convenience, but do keep in mind that an in-person visit to the visa issue center is a must for the great majority of applicants.

Final Thoughts

Applying for a Schengen visa from Pakistan does not have to be a stressful experience. If you are aware of the Schengen visa requirements from Pakistan, put in the time to prepare your documents thoroughly and submit your application in a timely fashion, which in turn increases your chance of it being approved. Also, check the embassy website for updates, as policies do change at a moment’s notice.

When it comes to traveling in France, Germany, or any other Schengen destination, preparation is the key to an unforgettable European adventure.
